Our informal group was formed in 2013 to participate in the youth exchange program organised by the French association Via Brachy and Greek counterparts, after the successful program titled "Voyage en Hétérotopie" which discovered solidarity projects in Haute-Garonne, Ariege, the Tarn and Tarn et Garonne in August 2013.  

 

At the end of summer 2013, we, students, young graduates and young professionals, wanted to know and make known the initiatives that share a vision of environmentally sustainable and socially fair world. We got once more together to discover such initiatives both in Greece and France in a youth exchange program titled an Oasis in the Crisis.

 

Each of us is engaged in solidarity economy organizations and try to put our skills in local projects, respectful of people and the environment. This trip was an opportunity for us to acquire new knowledge and skills and to engage dialogue between French and Greek citizens that share the same issues.
